Vamavarti Shankh
This Shankh opens towards the left hand. This is the most commonly available Shankh and people use them for all religious purposes. In fact, the largest shells are Vamavarti Conch, that is, their bulge opens towards the left side. Blowing the Vamavarti Shankh removes dangerous goods from negative forces and cleanses our surroundings and soul. This is indeed a common dextral form of the species where the shell twists or twists in a clockwise helix when viewed from the top of the shell.

In his prominent references, the Vamavarti Shankh is an air-blowing instrument, and in this form, it became the hallmark of Vishnu. People used it as a votive gift and as a protective charm against the troubles of the ocean.
